Welcome to SACRED, a collaboration platform dedicated to preserving the integrity of the sacred Dhamma, transmitted through the council system to serve as a standard and reference source for study and transmission to future generations.

From the historical transmission through the long lineage of memorization by Arahant elders to inscription on palm leaves up to the use of printing technology, the world has now entered the era of digital technology and artificial intelligence to make access to the Dhamma teachings easier and more widespread while maintaining accuracy and authenticity without distortion, for the stable preservation and continuation of the true Dhamma.

The latest Buddhist Council held in 1954 in Yangon, Myanmar, brought together over 2,500 monks from Theravāda countries to preserve the Pāli Canon (Tipiṭaka).
